May Activities

Dear Parents,
May I kindly remind you to send an empty small plastic bottle with the cap on for an activity that the children need to do.
Thanks.

During this month we celebrated two birthdays Liam Cassar 's birthday and Eve's birthday.

Experimenting with musical instruments - listen to the sound they make and learning their names.

Throwing the dice, counting and choosing the correct number.

Memory game - matching the numbers, making pairs.

An experiment - Walking water
The children observed the water move from the cups on the side to the cup in the middle (through capillary action), mixing the colours in the process.

Putting beads in the lace according to the number

During the year the children were exposed to various letters of the alphabet, through auditory emphasis.  This was accompanied by the alphabet song and also by referring to the alphabet display in class.  Now we are focusing more in detail on the first phonic group which are s, a, t, p, i, n. Till now we did s as in spider, a as in ant, t as in trumpet and p as in piano.
