January week 3

 During this week we did the alligator in class as we are continuing our topic about jungle animals and I pointed out that alligator starts with 'a'.  Sound 'a' was shown in class throughout the whole week  and whenever we mentioned a word that starts with sound 'a' I highlighted this to the children to make them aware of it.  The idea is to help the children informally, without too much academic emphasis, become aware that there are different sounds and they have different symbols.

January Week 2 - Environmental Week

Environmental Week - The children really enjoyed themselves to get in touch with nature, feel the leaves, getting in the soil....
Here you can find some photos of the first two days.  Unfortunately I couldn't do the other activities that I planned because I was sick but i will make sure to do them in the next week.
