Oct week 3 - (16th - 20th October)

During this week we learned about our different body parts, and our feelings with the help of rhymes, songs, crafts and stories.  The children did hand printing and also did a collage on a figure representing themselves.

The children used a piece of cardboard divided into four sections to represent them being happy, sad, angry and surprised.  The aim was to help the children understand that we can have different emotions and to help them be OK with sometimes being angry or sad.

Later on we worked on the recognition of the letters of their name.  The children were given the letters of their name to match them and build their name with a bit of help.  It was great fun:))

During storytelling we focused on some social stories about sharing and about using our hands in a proper way.

The children did another collage with different type of red papers - this helped them, focus on the subject of the red colour, which was already tackled last week.

Some free-play shots, dressing up and role play.
